Society is
becoming overwhelmed by the amount of technology that is introduced today. Many
argue that it has more negative effects than positives towards people. We rely
on it quiet often and it’s very easy to understand why. Technology has made
many things a lot easier for us in many different ways such as sharing
information, meeting new people, keeping in touch with friends and family and
even with real life situations.
The internet plays a very huge role
in the advancement in technology. By being able to search up information and
share it with someone across the world in the click of a button has really made
an impact in the world. Many things were created due to the fact that technology
was allowing us to share so much information. It helps us understand cultures
all over the world and explore many things. It helps us educated ourselves on
things we wish to know.
It also
helps us keep in contact with many friends and family members. Communication
has become instantaneous comparing to a couple decades back where everything
was hand written and sent by mail. Webcams allow us to visually see each even
if we’re miles away. Communicating with anyone can be practically be done just
about anywhere now with tablets and smart phones becoming so common. Technology
has allowed us to create connections with others over social networks leading
to many internet friendships. Many would argue that this could impact we
physically interact with people in real life and affect our communication
skills in person. Others argue that it doesn’t affect people’s communication
skills because they’re making connections with people even if they’re miles
away.
Due to the
advancement in computers many blue prints for buildings are not done in
computers. Many buildings that stand tall today were created digitally in a
computer. Allowing us to see how they would look before it is actually created.
This has helped structure many cities around the world. Many companies have
been able to save money because the cost of production has fallen dramatically
thanks to automated processes. Education has also been greatly impacted by the
advancement of technology.
People can
continue their education online and get their education no matter where they
are.
Although
people have many negative outlooks on what technology is doing to society it
also has many benefits. Many people seem to take the good that technology has
brought us for granted. If it were taken all away maybe people would appreciate
what it’s brought for us and the things that it made easier. Technology will
continue to advance and who knows what else it could help us accomplish.
