Macs VS Windows

         Microsoft Inc and Apple Inc are the two companies that make the operating systems Windows and Mac OS X. Apple also makes the iPhone, iPod, Apple TV, and more. Computers are made by many different companies like Lenovo, Hewell Packard, Dell, but their operating systems and platforms are made by Microsoft, the company makes the Xbox 360 and video games. Microsoft’s operating system is called Windows. However, Apple’s operating system is better than Microsoft’s operating system.

         Mac OS X has just as many games as Windows. The reason Mac OS X has more games windows because all of the games that can be played windows can also be played on Mac OS X. Because of the newer software Bootstrap you can run windows on the macs. Bootstrap lets you play all the windows games and mac games. Adding the iPod, iPhone, Mac, pc games, altogether gives you a bigger selection of games. Every Mac comes built in with Bootstrap.

Computers have many versions of windows that can be very confusing. In vista there’s home, office, and ultimate versions. Windows xp has just many versions. It can be stressful to pick which version for which computer. Apple computers come in a single version called Leopard. Leopard comes on every apple computer and if you choose to upgrade this program it will cost Hundred and forty-nine dollars. But upgrading windows xp and vista cost more money. Apple products are very simple that’s why they are the best.

         Apple computers are also easily upgradable. Some parts on apple computers are easily changed. All you need to is to try. There are some screws underneath of your apple computers. Take off the bottom plate and you’ll see the inside the whole computer and now you can change whatever part you would like. If you do not want to open up your computer you can also just have it customized from the website when you buy it. You can change the hard drive and the processor, RAM, Graphic Card, and others from the website.

         Mac computers are also cheaper then PCS. Apple has a multi decade relationship with their overseas suppliers which make Apple’s parts in such a cost effective way to give good quality at a lower price.  Sometimes Apple makes their computers with Aluminum glass which raises the price on Macs but it’s for the sake of quality. Apple computers also don’t have viruses. Apple thoroughly checks the quality in the Mac OS X and gets rid of vulnerabilities. Mac OS crashes happen rarely compared to windows PCs. And that is because Apple spends more time developing their operating system compared to the Microsoft team. There are more windows upgrades than Mac OS upgrades,

         Overall, Apple computers are better than PCs. Apple spends a lot of time to make sure the end user can play the same games that PC users can with less crashes, no viruses and at a cheaper price. Apple doesn’t disappoint when it comes to quality. There is a saying:  Once you go Mac, you do not want to go back. PCs call to fame is the Blue Screen of Death. That is when the whole operating system crashes and the only thing to do is restart the computer.  Macintosh is the better operating system.
